Welcome to North. Here you’ll find ancient melodies, modern classics, tunes by our friends and some brand new compositions from us.
Even after years of playing, sometimes the greatest pleasure can come from performing a tune you first learnt as a kid, battling your way through your music lesson! With Anna playing fiddle as well as guitar and Angus being and accordionist, we have 6 melody players in the band, all with different influences and repertoires. Part of the joy of putting these sets together has been placing tunes we’ve known for decades alongside freshly written or newly learnt music.
