Miracle Mule - Romp in the Swamp (2022)

Miracle Mule’s 3rd album, Romp in the Swamp, officially launched on March 5, 2022 at an album release party at a sold-out Rancho Nicasio. The band was on its game, clearly fired up by the opportunity to play for so many friends and fans. One new fan, who saw us there for the first time, sent this note to their friends who had invited her: “They’ve got their vocals down pat, the musicians blend smoothly and their interaction with the crowd melted me. I was mesmerized by the band – specifically the lead singer gal.” That lead singer gal, of course, is our own Sandy Geller.

The Mules have been hard at work in the studio over the last two years (or is it three?) and the result is eleven hoof-stompin’ Mules originals plus a swampy-tonk version of the Hank Williams classic, Cold Cold Heart. The originals include a number of tunes that are already familiar staples in the Miracle Mule repertoire: They Don’t Want No Train, Delta Queen, Bourbon Street, Mule On, and of course the title track, Romp in the Swamp. The Mules are rightly proud of their latest collection and it won’t take you long to see why.
