Ed Mount, the alias of Thibault Chevaillier was born 5 years ago. This self-taught jazzman had his teenage crisis late in life by exploring with Ed Mount the coolness that he had not been able to express during the first part of his career as a musician. From his past as a jazzman, he has retained an assiduous practice of the instrument and the search for surprising harmony, but with Ed Mount the playing field is now classic pop and the great Anglo-Saxon masters.

We could not remain silent in the face of the return of Ed Mount. The French multi-instrumentalist musician put chillwave back on the map with his album called Space Cries a few years ago and he is making a comeback with his new album entitled Close To Your Heart.

Ed Mount continues his ascent with his gently 70's influences on this new record. Welcoming us to his “The Ed Mount Show”, the musician dazzles us with so much elegance on compositions with unctuous grooves such as “It Might Be Something” and “I Keep Thinking About It”. Once again, Close To Your Heart will give us a good time.
