The 10 tracks of his debut album were co-written by fellow country rockers Jay Brunswick, Dave Gibson, Greg Crowe and John Swantner. The album was produced by Johnny Garcia, who plays guitar for Trisha Yearwood since 1991 and is also their musical director.

With the title track - also the first single - Riggins wanted to show his listeners that "in Kentucky we are growing the food that comes on your table and reaping lots of fun and muscle. We're not just 'Armed and Dangerous', we're 'Farmed and Dangerous'. "Also on the album is the music of the CMT (Country Music Television) series" Tobacco War. " In the series, Nick Riggins displays his skills as a Dark Fire tobacco farmer who grows specialty tobacco for cigars.
With his album, Nick has proven that he is a modern universal genius, a perfect artist, unique in his own way. His voice is fresh and rousing and his stage show absolutely compelling. He sings exactly the kind of hearty party country that "drives the scene." Nick Riggins is the "original", a true country talent from the deep south.
