Percussionist and composer Carlos Passeggi presents his third studio album, entitled El TocaRuidos, whose official launch will be next February 18 on all digital music platforms. Dutch Music Partners (Holland) published more than 40 compositions by the artist for percussion and their albums “Different Paths” (2004) and “Touched-Tocado” (2012) with recordings of 28 of his works.
On this occasion Passeggi launches El TocaRuidos, an album whose title refers to the musical game and the "noise" of percussion, voice, electronics and experimentation, as materials and "sound toys" of the works. Made up of 15 own compositions for percussion that invite you to immerse yourself in different aesthetic universes in which some features of electronic instrumental music -academic and popular- of Latin American folk roots, contemporary chamber music, song structures and the influences of a diversity of artists such as Bjork, John Cage, Leda Valladares, among many others.

The album features the participation of Gonzalo Villalba on bandoneon, Tupac Peralta and Piret Eesmaa on recitation. The cover art is by the plastic artist Martina Cúneo and 9 album compositions have their own original video specially designed for their projection in live performances.

The compositions and texts are by the artist except for "Tintinea voz" (anonymous Estonian folk poem "Hellise, hellise, haali"), "Acuosa" on the text and voice of Julio Cortázar in "El crushamiento de las cuerdas", "Perdido i ' i andado”, anonymous baguala compiled by Leda Valladares, “El silencio y sus vozes” based on the homonymous poem by Bertha Carou and “De la miel a las cremas”, an original composition written for the Spanish percussionist Roberto Oliveira.
