Sara Colman - Ready (2009)

Sara Colman's new album, Ready, clearly shows her to be a singer well above the ordinary. She chooses songs from a wide range of composers in a wide variety of genres, from Gerry Rafferty to Jimmy Van Heusen. And her own compositions sit equally strongly beside them. She records with a small group of old friends and trusted musicians who know that the best way to deliver this music is to keep it simple.
