Sewer Election - Psychic Panorama (2021)

For the best part of two decades, Sewer Election's Dan Johannson has delivered oddball, mind-altering sonic journeys that variously touch on noise, experimental electronica, industrial musicand wayward ambient. Psychic Panorama, his latest limited-edition CD release, follows on from an even more limited 2021 cassette on Malign Editions. It repurposes some of the same undeniably psychedelic material - think loopy and trippy modular synthesizer sounds plus effects and concrete-clad industrial textures - while adding some previously unheard experiments from his Gothenburg studio. If wilfully odd and deliciously otherworldly electronic music is your bag, it's well worth further exploration.
