HQ SACD Sampler's long-awaited second!
"HQ SACD (High Quality Super Audio Compact Disc)" proposed by Octavia Records (EXTON, TORITON, CRYSTON) since August 2007. It is becoming the most mainstream format in Octavia Records as a specification that delivers quality close to master stamper to listeners. It has been well received mainly by fans of audio and classical music in terms of high recording evaluation and clearly feeling the essence of each song being played (listening).
In addition to the previous work (OVCL-00362), the best album of the second edition is a masterpiece that everyone knows, a famous performance of nostalgia, and a passionate performance of overwhelmingness!
In order to capture the sound close to the master, 2chSACD's "Uncompressed SACD Hybrid Disc" is adopted. In order to fit the vast amount of information of 2ch and 5ch into a single disc, the audio signals of the conventional SACD layer have been compressed by DST (Direct Stream Transfer: Lossless Voice Compression Method Developed for SACD) and decompressed by the player during playback and delivered to the customer's ears. By eliminating compression and decompression work, this disc has succeeded in reducing the burden on the player during playback and fully drawing out the capacity of SACD.
