Piska Mig Hårt – Elisabet (Reissue) (1974/2012)

An interesting Swedish project with the initial name Pisket. Later the name was changed to Piska Mig Hart. They played mainly psychedelia mixed with blues, but with traces of folk, prog, or jazz (in particular, the psychedelic Trollkarlen, built like a fuzz guitar, towards the end he suddenly switches to free jazz saxophone). Some things evoke rather unexpected allusions to groups that are far from each other: for example, Pa-Pa Paris is clearly associated with Cockney Rebel, and Bussen Til Kina reminded The Fugs. Despite the apparent simplification of individual compositions, on the whole it is a rather curious album. The release was released in 1000 copies on the MNW Label and it took a certain time before everything was sold. In 1976 they were renamed Eldkvarn and still exist under this name.
