Angelo Comisso, Alessandro Turchet, Luca Colussi - Numen (2021)

In the new composition of the trio, pianist Angelo Commisso has found in Luca Colussi (drums) and Alessandro Turche (double bass) two sensitive partners who unconditionally follow him in his virtuosity, in the flow of endless and passionate harmony; under the guise of complete improvisation, "Numen" presents melodic lines obeying the natural law of beauty.
Komisso's classical training lays the foundations of jazz, firmly tied to the European dimension of sound image and phrasing, but at the same time opens doors to wide and vast sound worlds that change and develop in a dazzling way.
The trio easily moves between the Mediterranean atmosphere and melodic temptations, ethnic references, lyrical sentences and the atmosphere of visionary, always in absolute tonal balance: informal, pure, modest, simple following of the divine command.
