Dimi Kaye - Cruising to the Sun (2022)

As an introvert, I have spent many years of my life inside my head, creating worlds and living in them. The moment I started playing the guitar I felt that with the first note I could channel my bottled energy and feelings, positive or negative, to something creative and beneficial.

Since then, music has always been a coping mechanism that helped me deal with unknown situations, thoughts and life in general. It's given me the push to take the leap, take a risk and make decisions that at first seemed overwhelming or scary.

When I play, I let my feelings lead my fingers. I don't really think beforehand what to do or play, I just let myself go and see what happens.

Cruising to the Sun is the result of that.

It's the freedom I have been missing externally for almost 2 years but is still raging inside my head. It's the expression of a wish for a better tomorrow, materialised in songs. It's the hope that you will get something beneficial listening to the music like I did when I was making it.
