Brittany Jean - Whispered Stories (2013)

Thank you so much for your interest in my music! I am a Singer/Songwriter and have just completed my first Professionally Recorded CD entitled 'Whispered Stories' which includes (12) of my Original Songs, telling stories that I hope you will enjoy. My country/folk style is influenced by artists I have always loved; my own favorites-- John Denver, Gordon Lightfoot, Sara Groves, Alison Krauss... I love the craftsmanship of these musicians and hope that my music and lyrics honor their tradition. Thank you again for your interest in my music. Brittany Jean SDG Review by Stormcave Studios: "Whispered Stories" CD by Brittany Jean I have recently discovered the New Album "Whispered Stories" that has just been released by Local Songwriter and Recording Artist, Brittany Jean. Brittany Jean describes her "Music Style" as "Country/Folk with a hint of Bluegrass" and that certainly captures much of the feel of this Album, but it doesn't quite do justice to the absolutely "refreshing" listening experience that her audience will undoubtedly find in this Album of "Whispered Stories". This Album just rolls as it flows from song to song providing an absolutely delightful listen. The Melodies are so pleasant and the Lyrics tell such beautiful and wonderful stories that it is no wonder to discover that Brittany Jean lists Gordon Lightfoot and John Denver among her own favorite Artists. I would love to give you a Review of each song individually, but you will have so much more fun, discovering the music and the lyrics for yourself. I will say that the Musicians are truly exceptional and it is easy to hear their own delight and magic, as they craft their instrumentation alongside of Brittany Jean's lovely sound. "Whispered Stories" inspires tears and laughter and a simple appreciation (the best kind) for the good and beautiful elements of life. The life that most of us strive our best each day to achieve and bring to those most important to us. As you listen to Brittany Jean's "Whispered Stories" you will be reminded of your own stories, memories, family, and friends.
