Ballroom dance or attitude towards life? - Although we primarily associate the tango with the former, in its South American home - particularly in Argentina, the country mainly associated with the tango - it goes much further and links profound emotionality to an unmistakable lifestyle. On the CD Tango de Salón, the young quintet 'The Austrian Salonists' in the classical instrumentation of violin, bandoneon, guitar, double bass and piano presents a form of tango especially suited for dancing, playing pieces by great tango musicians such as Aníbal Troilo, Pintín Castellanos, Eduardo Donato, Eduardo Arolas, Anselmo Aieta, Ernesto Ponzio, Astor Piazzolla and today's Coco Nelegatti.
