Restavrant is a two man band who produces a swampy hybrid of blues, country, and punk rock. This album is their second album, and my favorite of the two (even though the first album is pretty good). Restavrant is a two man backwoods rock band. The guitar player knows how to rip the guitar apart using the slide, and the drummer plays a kit made out of buckets, license plates, and gas cans. It's high rock and roll art made out of garbage. The music is high energy, juke joint blues rock. If you're a fan of R.L. Burnside, than this is the album for you. It is a band you will want to check out before they are all over the place. If you ever get the chance to see them live, go do it. They put on a killer show, and they are really cool guys who are willing to sign albums and shake hands. (amazon)
