Norma was born in Valladolid and from a very young age she began to demonstrate her musical gifts by enlivening all her family's car trips from the back seat, although the first few times only 2 songs were known.
She was part of her school choir and she always says that her first English teacher was Michael Jackson, but in reality it was Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire, as well as all the great American musicals that hypnotized her in front of the television, so she had to study philology English to understand what those gentlemen who sang so well said.
After choirs and jam sessions, she decided to start singing professionally, starting with jazz and swing, discovering a whole universe of black music and velvety voices, like Ella Fitzgerald, and powerful and passionate women, like Aretha Franklin, and she finally gave herself up. She realized that the diva within her wanted to sing a lot more.
Norma continues to listen, learn and explore styles and singers from various eras to offer her best on stage, where she has impressive strength and charisma.
A talent that brings us a show of rhythm & blues, jump and swing solid as a rock. Dance, sweat and a lot of sensuality and fun, as in the mythical clubs and ballrooms of the 40s and 50s.
