The real blues-lovers from Holland know them and love them. The Groovetones was formed in 1988 by Willem van Dullemen and Johan de Roos. Backed up by Herman Smink and Andre Prins. The Groovetones did about ninety gigs each year. A hard working band that played every corner of the Netherlands. They did four tours with George Wild Child Butler in the Netherlands, Belgium and France, and backed up Lynwood Slim. Influences include The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Ronnie Earl and Muddy Waters. The Groovetones was one of the finest Dutch blues bands of that time, and have now become The Nervous Fellas. This is a highly collectible piece.
