Get into the holiday spirit with Simone Kopmajer´s album "Christmas“, a collection of 16 seasonal favorites like "Jingle Bells“, "The Christmas Song“ and "Baby, It´s Cold Outside“ along with songs from her homeland Austria with "Stille Nacht“ oder "Leise rieselt der Schnee“ , beautifully performed by grammy nominee John di Martino and his band featuring Terry Myers and Aaron Heick (Paul Simon, Chaka Khan or Barbara Streisand,...) and wonderful jazz & folk musicians from Austria on 4 European traditionals. The songs have been recorded in several studios in the USA and Austria presenting Christmas classics from all over the world. For the very first time some of these have been arranged featuring both a jazz band and traditional folk music instruments.
