The Rockin Daddies - Rev It (2016)

"Rev it" continues in the tradition of The Rockin Daddies first release but manages to expand and broaden their sound. There are more instruments (Sax, Piano), more vocal harmonies and a bigger sound. A wide range of styles are covered, from Rockabilly to New Orleans Blues to Surf instrumentals, yet it all remains cohesive. It seems obvious that these songs have been seasoned over years of late night tavern gigs, especially since it has been 12 years since The Rockin Daddies has released new material (much time to solidify new material). As a result, we get 17 developed tracks with no filler. The songs are varied and the energy is huge.
