Bazar Cache - Samvan Voyage (2021)

Samu, under his new alias Bazar Cache, continues his journey on ExpMental Records with the superb album titled SamVan oyages, which is due for release next month of November 2021.

Techno grabbed him and constituted a fundamental piece of his initial works. He spent many hours spinning and playing mostly at raves in Barcelona, Valencia, Castellón and other places, while he was exploring with Drum n ́Bass, PsyTrance, Electro, Breaks and other styles.

In 2008 he realized one of his dreams teaming up as a producer and head of co-management for the label Novo Music. The quality productions and the great feedback from several DJ’s,

artists, specialized press, radios ... drew attention from around the world. His productions can be found on several top labels and have been supported by many, including Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Josh Wink and Kerri Chandler to name a few.

After a short break away from dance music, Samuel experimented with different ways of producing and creating electronic music, it is this experience that has led him to now, where he can showcase his talent and his vision.

The release opens with the surreal, ethereal tones of Preludio Épico with its breaks drums melting into a pot of warm organs and striking synths. La Buena Mañana follows, an organic,

flowing groover with deep grooves and trippy sequences. Utropical is up next, offering a look into an intriguing groove filled with mesmerizing sequences and a sporadic drum arrangement.

El Lobo de Utrera leads us into an experimental construction with scattered beats and dark sparkles, while the following track Condenado a Danzar keeps the semi-chilled groove alive

with sweeping pads, infectious basslines and a superb robotic voice to give it a spacey, cosmic vibe. Guille & Cesar delivers a strong groove with chunky beats and hypnotic basses. Scathing

synths create a wide and spacious sound that will no doubt keep the floors rocking. Todo en Orden is up next, churning out a raw, organic vibe with gritty tones and a laidback groove. Or not so much? The powerful Aplástame goes into full-on mode, rocking the speakers with thumping beats, acid laden basses and a chilling techno groove with cinematic qualities.

On remix duties for Condenado a Danzar we have multi-instrumentalist and world-renowned artist, Fábel. A hugely popular figure in Valencia and beyond, Fábel has worked with a host of top artists and continues to deliver the goods with everything he touches. On the remix, we’re taken down the veritable rabbit hole as a myriad of delicate notes dance along to chaotic patterns with a solid breaks style drum arrangement. Dub Postludio rounds out the album, and does it in style. Break beat drums and a pulsing bassline are joined by expertly crafted FX and a distant vocal. The track is laced with filters to give the impression of leaving the club down a long a corridor, the perfect ending.

A beautifully constructed album, combining different styles into a musical journey you do not want to miss.
