Peter Autschbach - Sing! (2021) Hi-Res

With their second album "Sing!" Samira Saygili and Peter Autschbach open a new chapter of their successful cooperation. The name "Sing!" says it all: with it, the two encourage themselves and their listeners to sing along. Because singing is known to promote well-being and health.

While on the first, successful album "Sweeter Than Honey" the role distribution "singer and guitarist" was still largely adhered to, on "Sing!" the guitarist can also be heard as a singer and the singer contributes extremely surprising things (like a conversation between a bee and a raven) in addition to skilful percussion interludes. The music consists of ten original compositions and three freshly interpreted versions of well-known melodies. The "dialogue of the extra class between guitar and vocals", which the press likes to describe, is of course always present here, but every now and then the duo framework is broken, which makes the sound world of the songs more diverse and intense. Sometimes electric bass and drums give the music wings, sometimes it's a capella walls of sound that make you sit up and take notice. Lyrically, Samira Saygili and Peter Autschbach tell of the adventures of a small note, of characteristics of the animal world in the savannah, or that we should please take care of our earth.

As a duo, Samira Saygili and Peter Autschbach have already won several prizes such as the main prize "German Singer Award" and an award in the category "best guitarist" at the event "German Rock and Pop Award". Concerts led the two besides the participation in the famous "Guitar Night" tour among others to Italy, Romania, Istanbul, Japan and to "Sing!" (the latter is the short name of the Asian metropolis Singapore used by its inhabitants).
