Sune Pors (b. 1987 in Odense, Denmark) is a guitarist and composer, who has worked with numerous Danish and international bands and artists as a sideman, as well as performing his own music. With an eclectic range of musical influences, his focus lies on creative music that is not easily categorized by genre.
Current projects include Thief On The Roof with estonian guitarist Kirsi Tilk, and the genre-bending trio Myrtue/Pors/Rõivassepp. He also frequently performs and records with singer-songwriter Martin Baltser.
In 2015, Sune Pors finished his master's degree in jazz/pop/rock guitar at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, Denmark. There he had lessons with Uffe Steen, Karsten Aaholm, Adam Levy, Miso Petrovic, Tolis Zavaliaris, Henrik Andersen, Gilad Hekselman and many others.
In 2017, his debut album as a leader "End Of Sunday" was released. A new album is in the making, featuring the Admeta String Quartet, which is set to be released in the fall of 2021.
He has performed all over Denmark, as well as in Germany, United Kingdom, Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Poland and Iraq, with artists such as Li Diné, Gara Sazkar, Dashni Morad.
