RECORD - The three a capella singers who make up Les Itinérantes take up with their second disc Winter Voyage an unthinkable challenge: to renew the repertoire of Christmas carols! A shock.

Remember: Théotime Langlois de Swarte's playlist put us on the trail of the Itinérantes. The violinist had mentioned Au Fil de l'Air, the first album of this young female ensemble (which includes his sister Pauline) and shared his admiration for their mastery of different vocal techniques.

Enthusiasm confirmed here, after a few minutes of listening on the stage of the Opéra de Bordeaux, in the first part of a recital by Natalie Dessay who sponsored them. At the Ambronay Festival in September 2021, the three sopranos also appeared at the windows to impromptuously catch the ears of passers-by and get them to listen to the architecture of the abbey. The Ambronay Cultural Meeting Center, which accompanies this young ensemble, has also released their second disc Winter Voyages to be released on November 12 under its label, Ambronay Éditions.
