Arthur Sharpe is an award-winning Film & TV Composer whose current and upcoming works include the feature film THE ELECTRICAL LIFE OF LOUIS WAIN (2021) starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Claire Foy and the HBO & Sky Atlantic series LANDSCAPERS, due out late 2021/early 2022.
In the past he scored the BAFTA-nominated Channel 4 show FLOWERS (2016 - 2018) starring Olivia Colman and Julian Barratt. His work on the first series won him the RTS Craft and Design Award for Best Original Music while he also gained an Ivor Novello nomination for Best Television Soundtrack for the second series.
Other TV works include scoring the first series of the BBC1 comedy GHOSTS (2019 - present) written by and starring the Horrible Histories ensemble, the series WOMEN ON THE VERGE (2018) created by Lorna Martin and Sharon Horgan, and Neil Forsyth's pitch black BBC Scotland & BBC2 comedy/drama GUILT (2019 - 2021).
He also wrote music for the BAFTA-nominated feature film BLACK POND (2011) and co-scored THE DARKEST UNIVERSE (2016) with Ralegh Long.
Alongside his film and TV work, Arthur also fronts and writes for the band Arthur In
Colour.
