Siema Ziemia are a Polish electro-acoustic quartet drawing energy from collective improvisation. They want to cross the borders of genres such as breakbeat, drum & bass, spiritual-jazz. They are inspired by phenomena on the verge of ritual, ceremonial and meditation activities.
Their Reworks EP (5/11) includes a remix by Meeting By Chance, an alias of Marcin Cichy - half of Ninja Tune signings Skalpel - a meditative, relaxed groove with haunting saxophone, as well as Reworks from Hatti Vatti, Charles Vaughan, Bogdan Sekalski, and Mulberry.
The Teielte Rework of ‘On Time’ (13/10) is the lead single, a swirling, pulsing piece with cut glass vocals from oly.
