NAMBYAR is an alternative R&B artist delivering a melancholic wave of analogue drum beats and synths with a dark soulful voice. Born Jesse Nambiar, this musician, songwriter and producer grew up in a small town near Amsterdam and was always surrounded by nature. He has played the guitar since he was 9 years-old, but at 21 Jesse played in indie band Valerius which produced a number 1 hit in Indonesia and got several songs on Dutch radio. After recording two albums with Valerius, it was time to go solo.
