Markus Becker - Alleingang (2021)

Markus Becker, internationally sought-after pianist, has shaped his very own, free and unmistakable improvisational style alongside his classical concert career. His first solo album Freistil (2019) stood out for its imaginative, colourful and stylistically confident mosaic structure: many miniatures created completely out of the moment, full of unexpected associations. Becker's second CD Alleingang is now a real amalgam of jazzy freedom and classical piano writing, with much stronger compositional parts, up to multi-track arrangements.
