Element 113 - Castle Danger (2015)

Element 113 is a 6 piece rock band from Minneapolis, MN. Since their formation in 2008, they have been crafting original music influenced by a variety of artists and styles, including Faith No More, Queensrÿche, Nine Inch Nails, and Led Zeppelin. The musicians include drummer Jonathan Townsend, bassist Pat Malmgren, keyboardist Chris Malmgren, guitarist Jason Ricos, guitarist CJ Marxer, and singer Scott Henz.

The band recently released their debut album, titled “Castle Danger”, consisting of 7 bombastic tracks. It was recorded and mixed by Element 113 and mastered by Bruce Templeton of Magneto Mastering, Minneapolis.

The band members come from a variety of musical backgrounds, including classical, progressive, metal, and zydeco. Each member brings a unique perspective to the compositions and the execution, resulting in a powerful, multi-layered collection of tracks. “Castle Danger” takes you on a journey of dark and light, harshness and subtlety.
