Hermon Mehari, Alessandro Lanzoni - Arc Fiction (2021)

A duo of the 2015 Carmine Caruso International Trumpet Competition winner and the up-and-coming trumpet player Harmon Mehari, who made it to the semi-finals of the 2014 Thelonious Monk Competition, and now Italy's leading pianist Alessandro Lanzoni.

The music progresses, listening enthusiastically to each other's play, exchanging interactions, and switching initiative. A sound that you can't tell where the composition is and where the improvisation is, even if you listen carefully. A beautiful creative space where the melody and story are told, with the intention of how much the moment of improvisation feels like composition.
