Luminus Music is proud to present this 6-track EP featuring collaborations between Hedflux and Grouch, with remixes from Brujo's Bowl and Nanosphere.
Originating from Scotland and New Zealand, Hedflux and Grouch first crossed paths in 2011 at Luminate Festival, then later at Alien Nation. Despite living on opposite sides of the planet, and their busy touring schedules, they managed to co-create some sounds one day in Melbourne, sounds which eventually grew into the seminal "zenonesque" tech-funk track "Lumination", originally released on Broken Robot records in 2012.
Also in 2012, Hedflux remixed the wonderfully quirky and distinctive triplet-style glitch-hop track "Reverse Entropy", which was originally released on the now de-enigmatized Enig'matik Records.
In the last year, they swapped remix parts for Hedflux's "Catharsis" and Grouch's "Mehndi Moller", and the results of that collaboration are presented here, alongside the re-releases of Lumination and Reverse Entropy, and two outstanding remixes of Lumination by two of the UK's finest psychedelic ninjas: Brujo's Bowl and Nanosphere.
