The choir director, organist and artistic director of the Arzignano Organ Festival, Maestro Francesco Grigolo, will present a precious publication in the Cathedral of Ognissanti.
This is the recording project 'The Mascioni organs of Arzignano' which was born from a personal idea of the Maestro to pay homage to the great organ heritage of our city.
The album program is therefore focused on enhancing the timbre and acoustic characteristics of each instrument thanks to the performance of French authors who lived between the 19th and 20th centuries.
The leitmotif is Father Terenzio Zardini, composer, organist and choir director from Verona who lived in the second half of the twentieth century who, thanks to the push of maestro Giancarlo Parodi, led to a great production also for organ only.
For many years the instruments of the Cathedral of Ognissanti of Arzignano, of San Giovanni Battista of Villaggio Giardino and of Pugnello have resounded in their ecclesiastical environments thanks to the invaluable contribution and service of the many organists who succeeded the console of these three instruments during liturgical celebrations.
Furthermore, for over ten years, in conjunction with the historic Fiera dei Santi, the City of Arzignano organ festival has been held.
