Dlght - Dans L'eau (2021)

Behind the pseudonym dlght, hides Thomas David, Parisian electronic music composer and founder of the label Abri Catalog. Between breakbeat, footwork and other experiments to make people dance, dlght's previous releases were not very similar to this one. His new album "Dans l'eau", resulting from the collaboration with the Parisian label Planisphère, reveals a new aspect of the producer: calmer, more meditative, where the ambient submerges the few breakbeat rhythms of the album.

Ears plugged with water deafen us and allow us to listen to the inside of our bodies. Water makes all sounds omnidirectional and unobtainable to the eye. It detaches us from the laws of gravity and carries us silently, calming our senses.
"Dans l'eau" is a warm and calm place where indistinct and intertwined emotions spread out. A large pocket landscape in which we can meditate intensely and calmly, weep with joy and sadness and discreetly mix our tears into the sea.
