Premier livre de l'auteur, « de la violence dans les détails » est écrit par un musicien qui à toujours utilisé les mots comme préalable à la composition musicale. Pour la première fois, il a tenté de faire se répondre les deux matières, se servant de l'une pour faire avancer l'autre, jusqu'à voir naître cet objet hybride et singulier.
Sans être "la musique de l'histoire", il s'agit d'une autre forme d'histoire, de ce que serait la version musicale du traitement des thèmes du livre. Ecrite en parallèle du roman, dans la même temporalité, la musique est jouée par 16 musiciens dans des formes allant du solo au Tentet. Tour à tour improvisée ou très écrite, elle prend d'autre chemins que le roman, tout en passant par les mêmes points.
The author's first book, "Violence in Details" is written by a musician who has always used words as a prerequisite for musical composition. For the first time, he tried to make the two materials respond to each other, using one to advance the other, until he saw the birth of this hybrid and unique object.
Without being "the music of history", this is another form of history, of what the musical version of the treatment of the themes of the book would be. Written in parallel with the novel, in the same temporality, the music is played by 16 musicians in forms ranging from solo to Tentet. Alternately improvised or very written, it takes other paths than the novel, while passing through the same points.
