Digitally remastered edition of this 1986 live album from the British Prog Rock band. The Enid played a gig in Liverpool. Robert John Godfrey, the band, the audience. Dancing on tables. A special record was pressed for the audience. This is that record. This is Liverpool. Very little information exists on Liverpool, but we know the following. How many were pressed? 800. Does this contain the only know live recording of 'Nimrod'? Yes. The quality of this album is fantastic. It was thought to be a live recording of the Liverpool show, but this is a common misconception. Before the opening of the show a performance of 'Nimrod' was recorded for posterity and eventually included on the vinyl pressing. It's The Enid as we want them to be; glorious, sumptuously symphonic, paragons of Prog Rock and the originators of orchestral Rock.
