This new instrumental project allows Kevin Reveyrand to showcase the expressiveness of his bass in a repertoire of resolutely melodic and original compositions of great rhythmic richness. Inspired by the many countries he has had the chance to visit for twenty years, as well as by the musicians he has worked with, Kevin Reveyrand has a rich and mixed background… Kevin Reveyrand's music resembles him , a natural elegance, without artifice. In this new album she unfolds according to the compositions, sometimes melodic, sometimes festive, sometimes contemplative. The choice of instrumentation and the quality of the musicians who surround it give this new opus a clear and promising identity, that of a jazz with Mediterranean impulses soaked in sunshine and optimism, so precious nowadays.
