His early southern influences shine through on this one, The Band, JJ Cale, Roy Orbison. Take it Home, it’s a collection of blues, country, roots and gospel - all the music from the South that’s inspired Cochrane over his four-decade career.
Right out of the blocks the upbeat vibes grab you. Track two, "Sunday Afternoon Hang" has me dreaming about those perfect summer days that are not too far off. The first single off the album,"Diamonds" is classic Cochrane.
