The Walls Came Down: The Best of the Mercury Years is a generous overview of the Call's peak years, containing 18 tracks from their days at Mercury. That means, of course, that it has everything most listeners could want, including the title track and many other college-radio big music anthems of the '80s. The music may have dated somewhat, along with the message, and it is missing the non-Mercury hit "Let the Day Begin" but this still summarizes the Call's strengths and weaknesses better than any other collection could hope.
