fraqsea - Star Cocktail (2016) Hi-Res

The long-awaited 2nd full-length album by aya's solo project "fraqsea", which is also active as a vocal / guitar of the shoegazer band Shelling, for the first time in about two and a half years since 2013. At PROGRESSIVE FOrM, he has participated as a vocalist in the albums of Fugenn & The White Elephants, Pawn and M-Koda, as well as in the EP released by LLLL on Maltine Records. While keeping the transparent, mysterious and beautiful singing voice of the previous work "Majoram", this work shows the sound production up to the track main king with an approach reminiscent of rock, based on the direction of techno and house, and the vocals. It is more pop and direct and makes it stand out impressively. From the club sound that can be heard in the title songs "Star Cocktail" of "Love Tonight" and "Icecream Holic" to the wide range of electronic and sprinting tastes that can be felt in "Cardinal Point" and "Always With U", the song "Aimai" that plays a comfortable ambience. The album has a lot of things to listen to, gently wrapped in "Fruit" and "Near The Rain". KASHIWA Daisuke, who is highly acclaimed as an artist, is in charge of mastering, and the songs "My Own Way" and "Always With U" will release music videos shot in various places.
