Elise Dabrowski, Fidel Fourneyron, Olivier Lété - Parking (2021)

Singer Elise Dabrowski decided to bring together musicians Olivier Lété and Fidel Fourneyron to create a trio of open compositions. In search of a music of reliefs and spaces, this trio creates new territories where the mixture of timbres takes us through various universes related to jazz, but ultimately diverted from it. Sometimes long hypnotic stretches emerge the power of an instrumental solo. The voice is in turn an instrument blending with the other two, then in contrast takes its lyrical flight to let its rage, its joy and sometimes even its ecstatic character spring up from the depths.

Words, sounds and textures merge, here the aesthetics come together without saying their names voluntarily ... the metal of the bass guitar, the dark copper of the trombone gives the vocal line its full freedom.
