Vincent Kircher - Am I Ghost (2017)

Vincent Kircher, the prolific songwriter and frontman of Milwaukee's JAILL, has stepped out for his first solo record and has delivered a raw beauty in Am I Ghost, which will be released independently under his own label, Vinnie's House of Doom Records.

With Jaill, Kircher has released records with venerable labels such as Sub Pop Records, Burger Records, and Infinity Cat Records and had the opportunity to tour with amazing bands such as The Growlers, The New Pornographers, The Hold Steady and many more. His songs have been featured in shows such as HBO's Girls and FX's You're The Worst.

Am I Ghost is a thoughtfully melodic and introspective work built with a diverse palette of instruments including marimba, congas and other acoustic percussion. This record is a solo project; Kircher wrote the songs, played and recorded every note in his basement studio, and mixed and mastered them there as well. He's releasing the album himself and undertaking a diy promotion of the record.
