Jointz Venture is the second album of the German producer and DJ Quincy Jointz. Following-up to his successful debut-album “Praia de Geriba” he delivers 14 new tunes! This time there are even more styles. He creates his unique funky freestyle & nu funk that meets downtempo beats with reggae, afro-funk and electronic flavor sounds.

Quincy Jointz created an album which will be contemporary for decades. It is an instant classic for all open-minded dance music lovers. Like with “Praia de Geriba” he focuses always on quality music and not only in modern beats that will be boring in a few weeks. He teamed up with top-artists like The Impellers, Basement Freaks, Michael DeVellis MC Fava, and MC Resc.

The album kicks-off with Airport, a nu funk tune with soundtrack-feeling. Followed by Quincy´s amazing remix of Jazz K.Lipa´s Hold me in a new version. This is a reggae-influenced hit for the ladies. Quincy´s project Geriba featuring MC Fava delivers the anthem Blast. It is the hymn in all his dj-sets since the very first time he dropped it. Back in Da Dayz is pure nu funk beat groove that meets old-school feeling with groovy bassline, clavinet and saxophone. Just enough rope is deep funk at its best, a cooperation with the UK band The Impellers. Amazing vocals by Lady Claire Witcher, groovy guitar by Ed Meme and an awesome baseline by mighty Basement Freaks. Bodyline slows down a bit with its fresh combination of afro funk and electronic. Hypnotic and soulful.

Quincy also teams-up with New York-based multi-instrumentalist Michael DeVellis. He is playing the flute on Wanna Tell Ya. Together they created the deep dancefloor-tune which reminds a bit of the good days of St. Germain (So flute) but more funky. Judith Menner is a talented singer from Quincy´s hometown Freiburg. Quincy got in contact with her and soon they decided to do a song together. The first result Love in return was so good that it had to be included last minute in the album. A catchy Funk-tune for the ladies.

Quincy Jointz was remixing People Survive of the Spanish project Globe by dj Max & Gabb. Adding funky beats to the catchy vocals and the wobbling bass. The hook line gets into your ears and stays there for days.

Swiss artist Banderas asked Quincy for a remix on his afro funk tune Djouguova. Funky breakbeats meet a huge hook line of groovy horns. Quincy was so happy about this remix that it had to be on the new album, too. Freiburg-based MC Resc coming from the D´n´B crew Breakbeat Movement appears as featured artists in the song Stay Focused. A mixture of fast rap-vocals, house, funky electronic beats. Quincy dedicates the song For Marla to his little girl. He created this sunshine-song right after her birth in summer 2011. “There´s a new girl right now” ;-)

Big Bad Dub is an uptempo breakbeat tune right outta the echo-chamber. The album is closing with Get Down. This is a slow house tune with 90´s pianos and vibes. Very untypical for Quincy but deep and groovy anyway.

The 14 songs of this album shows Quincy´s musical spectrum like the way he played as DJ all around Europe in the last years. Sure to rock the clubs worldwide on the one side. On the other side it´s more than just another dance-album. These songs are the perfect soundtrack to what ever you are up to!
