THIS is a concept album. The original songs by LOST AND FOUND tell a story: God has loved us with an everlasting love whose name is Jesus. He remembers us and "is with us."

The music is like a mix of the Ramones and James Taylor. It is a unique style. While the sound is not for everyone, the songwriting is enough to make just about anyone want to hear the CD. Some will even like the style; but it is an aquired taste. The best way to experience LOST AND FOUND, though, is in a live concert. LOST AND FOUND is George Baum and Michael Bridges. They have been writing, performing and recording original music since 1986. Their first concert trip took them, on bicycles, from New York to St. Louis to Miami to Miami to San Diego to Seattle and back to New York. Yes--on bicycles. They rode 8,000 miles and played 270 concerts durng the 340 day trip. These days they perform about 180 times each year.

In January 1999 they were named Grand Prize Winners in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest for their song, "Lions." Though they have come a ways since the bicycle trip, they continue to work to stay independent of any major record label and sell their CDs only at concerts, through the mail, through their website and here at Amazon.
