Following on from their recent Love Forgotten, Oddities & Rarities Collections, A Man Called Adam return this summer with the latest in their 'Special Edition' series of releases. This time they've curated and remastered a selection of mixes of their Balearic classic All My Favourite People, including previously vinyl-only cuts and remixes from Albert Cabrera (aka One Latin Rascal) and Tom Middleton, plus their own 12" dubs and radio edits.
Written on a family holiday in County Kerry, Southern Ireland, Sally's lyric evokes that haunted, magical landscape as she asks ALL her favourite people - the living and the dead - to 'Stay With Me'. The music, co-written with Jazz legend Eddie Parker, was produced by Rodgers and Jones in their East London studio and reflects their immersion in the late 90s UK Garage scene with its heavy swing, hypnotic harps and electric pianos, hoofing dub bass line and sticky 2-Step beats.
