“János Németh was one of the first musicians who played modern jazz in Hungary, and he played with the best Hungarian Rhytm & Brass players (eg. Pege Aladár, Kőszegi Imre) for many years. In the 80s I also had the pleasure to play in Pege Aladár's quintet, and as a beginner I learned a lot from János at that time. I know, that besides teaching he spend a lot of time with live music, with practicing and composing. A special pleasure for me, that after a long time finally he has carried out this CD. He recorded his own pieces orchestrated by himself with the best young talents of the Hungarian jazz scene. The experienced musician plays fantastically together with the young talents, as all of them speak the same musical language. Finally, the long-awaited record was born, I recommend it heartily.” Toni Lakatos
