A graduate of Auburn University, Trent received the Kay Reynolds Beaty Scholarship to study piano performance with Dr. Jeremy Samolesky, the second ever double DMA graduate from Eastman School of Music. He also studied jazz with Dr. Michael Pendowski, another Eastman graduate and the composer for the NCAA/Madden football video games.
Trent was selected to the All-SEC jazz ensemble under the tutelage of Dr. P.
Previously, Trent studied for 10 years under Larisa Morozova, a native of the former Soviet Union where she oversaw over 600 piano students as Director of Musical Operations.
Trent has released 3 studio albums, Introspection (solo piano), Back to School (Funk Rock), and Briden Time (Modern Jazz). His 4th album is set to release in early 2021 and is comprised of both solo and trio tracks, exploring jazz standards, popular songs, and original compositions.
Trent is currently on staff as an educator for the Jazz Piano School (jazzpianoschool.com). He performs solo jazz/cocktail piano in the Atlanta area.
