We already knew that Jelka van Houten had a very pleasant voice, but the repertoire on this album fit her like a glove. Her voice sounds remotely by Carole King and is very pleasant to listen to. Partly thanks to the Common Linnets is country flavored music (Americana) completely in the Netherlands and the Dutch again in America record music something magical happens, it seems. Also at Jelka van Houten. Very surprised by the quality of this album.
