The Fabulists formed in London, UK in 2006, the original lineup consisting of piano player Gerald Clark and singer Shaun Milton with regular guest musicians Cai, Daisy Coole and Eric Young on bass, sax and drums.
Sharing a love of torch songs and other influences, among them Brian Wilson, Roxy Music and Billy MacKenzie their first gig was at the Klubb Kosie in London, followed by regular appearances at Bartok in Camden Town and The Paul Raymond Revue Bar in Soho.
Their first album 'Where Silence Should Be' was released on the Zube Records label in 2006.
Gerald left in 2007 to work on solo projects, the first of which was the album 'Home' also released on the Zube Label. He was succeeded by Hermione Love on keyboards for their critically accliamed second CD 'Dog Violets'.
The band are now working on their third album scheduled for release in late 2013.
