After their second album, Prevention, was released in 2009, Glaswegian folk-rockers De Rosa decided to part ways. However, their cult following continued to grow, eventually warranting their return in 2012. Upon their re-formation, they instantly began working on new material, resulting in their third studio album, Weem. Leading up to their hiatus De Rosa had five members; for the new record they have reverted to the original three, paring back their sound and approach for their most concise record to date.
