Gene Pitney - Golden Hits (1996)

Intercontinental's Golden Hits is a budget-priced collection of re-recordings of such hits as "Only Love Can Break a Heart," "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance," "It Hurts to Be In Love," "Mecca," "A Town Without Pity" and "Twenty-Four Hours from Tulsa." While these versions are adequate, fans would be advised to stick to the original versions, which are available on marginally more expensive, but much better collections.
