Pixie Dixie - Back in Town (2021)

The Lleida band Pixie Dixie presents a new album, as part of the Jazz Tardor program, at the Auditori Enric Granados in Lleida, his city, after the difficulties arising from the pandemic situation experienced . The group is renewed with new additions, such as the young singer Joana Jové, and Luis Alfonso Guerra "Luisito", who was percussionist of Bebo Valdés, Juan Perro and Pau Donés. Together with Jordi Mestre on guitar, Wifred Terrades on trumpet, Miquel Torà on double bass and Joan Andreu on drums complete the formation of this well - known group from Lleida that is celebrating more than 26 years of experience. His music is based on the African American tradition and always looking for the most playful and communicative aspects of jazz.
