The erection of the Eiffel Tower and the centenary of the French revolution marked the Universal Exhibition of 1889. Giving glory to the ending nineteenth century, it broke all attendance records on a Champ de Mars adorned with a thousand lights, the Belle Époque triumphed! Piccolo virtuosos too! We will find them at the turn of the century, from France to Australia and on the first recordings.
